On Karate day 2014, in Naha Okinawa, as part of the okinawa-ken karatedo rengokai, all Shōrinkan dojos came together to perform naihanchi shodan and passai dai on kokusai dori, in front of the market, under Kinjo Kenpo (hanshi judan, vice president) and Nakazato Minoru (hanshi judan, president). About 42 adults, the largest group of the whole karate day 2014 event, more than half were 7th dan or above. Represented dojos were : Hombu (aja), Asato, Yamashiro (Ishikawa), Yaese, Uruma, Chinen, and more.
